Turning Hearts Ministries derives its name from the last verses in the Old Testament and the first message from God in the New Testament.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the LORD. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse. (Malachi 4:5,6)

And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. (Luke 1:17)

These Scriptures speak of God’s plan to turn hearts.

The Bible teaches that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) The good news is that God draws lost sinners to Himself, turning their hearts from sin and self to faith in Jesus Christ alone, to love for one another, and to a confident hope in God's eternal plan. The purpose of Turning Hearts Ministries is to serve God in His work of turning people's hearts to Himself through faithfully proclaiming the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, and making disciples.

It is the glory of Christ that is on display in Mark’s teaching,
and the response is always a deepening of faith and a greater love for Christ.
