Biblical Counseling

An important area of the ministry in which we are engaged in ongoing disciple-making relationships is biblical counseling. While we are not professional counselors, many to whom we have ministered over the years have reached out to us for help with areas of personal struggle, marriage or family difficulties, and even church conflicts. They often refer others to us as well. It is a great privilege to walk alongside of these people and to learn with them as God speaks through His Word in order to teach, convict, correct, and train in righteousness. Our purpose is to equip believers to use the Word of God correctly and effectively for themselves in dealing with sin and problem areas in their lives and relationships, so that they may grow to become more like Christ, and that they may, in turn, instruct and encourage others to do the same. This is the very meaning of disciple-making.

"Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
