The Revelation of Christ in the Passover Seder

I have been blessed to have Mark with Turning Hearts Ministries come to three different churches where I was pastoring to lead us in the Passover Seder. In each of these churches, including one in New Zealand, the response has been the same - a greater desire to worship. It is the Glory of Christ that is on display in Mark’s teaching, and the response is always a deepening of faith and a greater love for Christ.

Discovering the Biblical revelation of Christ in the Passover illuminates the unity of the Scriptures and unveils the historical meaning of the Lord's Supper in an unparalleled way. Historically, the Passover has been a family festival conducted in the home. It is a time of learning and worship designed for the entire family.

After many years of researching and teaching experience on this ancient celebration and its fulfillment in Christ, we have developed teaching sessions that are adaptable to a variety of group sizes, age ranges, and time constraints.

Although particularly appropriate during and around Holy Week, Turning Hearts Ministries offers teaching on the significance of Passover at any time during the year.

Thoughts on the Purpose & Value of Learning about Passover

Hosting a Passover Seder Presentation

I was told by another pastor about this ‘Seder’ service done by Mark, and at first was leery because I was so unfamiliar with the Passover and didn’t want to just have an Easter event that sounded ‘religious’ but lacked depth. What I learned was that the imagery and meaning of the Passover Seder and all its accompanying history and tradition plumbs the depths of the Gospel itself. I was so amazed by the intensity and power in the way Mark presents and explains the Seder service. I had him do it at a private dinner for friends, at a Christian school, at my church, and in as many places and venues as I could in order to get as many people to participate as I could. I have literally seen lives changed and minds opened to the grace of Christ because of these services. And the key word is ‘participate.’ The Seder Mark presents is a hands-on, full sensory experience. It is for all ages, and it is best to invest the maximum amount of time possible to experience the entire program. If there was ONE event in the life of my church that I had to say was a non-negotiable, it would be this Seder service by Mark of Turning Hearts Ministries.
